A picture is worth 1000 words . . .
3:53 PM
Last week I was asked to take part in study being conducted by Schlesinger and Associates. They were looking for caregivers of children with diabetes (CWD). Hey - that's me! I have a CWD so I was more than happy to participate.
They asked me to make a collage about diabetes and bring it to the meeting. So, the above picture is what I made and took into the meeting. Pretty cute - no? I mean if you have to make a picture about diabetes - it's pretty cute. Oh wait - maybe it's just my adorable son, Nate that makes it so cute!! :)
Anyway, I have no idea who or what the research was for but I hope that I was able to help in some way because ONE DAY I WOULD LOVE TO SAY THAT MY SON USED TO HAVE DIABETES!

A-W-E-S-O-M-E collage!!! NATE is adorable and even though it is about "D", it is really CUTE.
"Great job" to you and Jim.
It's definitely Nate that makes it adorable! What a cutie! Awesome job on the collage!
Well, if you HAVE to make a picture about diabetes - it IS pretty darn cute. Especially with Nate in it :)
hmmm~ do the Houston's have a Cricut??
What a cutie - though the picture of him crying in your arms is a heartbreaker.
Jim did a fabulous job!
Hey Laura - I participated in the Schlesinger research group about Type 1 caregivers here in Philly - just two days ago! There was a group of 7 of us and it was like paid therapy! I had to do the collage too, but yours is awesome! The homework was kind of interesting, huh? Pictures of what a low would 'look like'? I almost felt like I WAS in therapy! Great collage though!
Nice job on the collage.
One day soon please.
You nailed it. It pretty much sums it all up!
I love this poster! You did a FANTASTIC job!
Sorry I missed your rough day. I'm so behind on blogging....but I'm glad you're doing better.
You are still in my prayers....especially the insurance thing. : )
